What Browser Extractor Helps With

Browser Extractor is built for design inspection, design-token discovery, UI review, website asset extraction, and front-end analysis directly from the active browser tab.

Common Questions

• If a scan seems incomplete, reload the page and run the scan again after the visible content has finished loading.
• If certain assets or scripts are missing, the browser may have blocked access because of cross-origin restrictions or page security settings.
• If preview edits do not appear, make sure you are editing the active tab and that the page allows injected styling on visible elements.
• Responsive loads the page again at each device size, side by side inside the page, so the site’s own scripts run for real and actions there affect the real website. Devices are Chrome at those sizes, not phone browsers. If a site refuses to be shown in frames, Responsive offers to open it in a separate window at one device size instead. Fit changes only the displayed size; Reload loads the devices again.
• Extract and Audit open as separate panels beside the page. Audit performance observes the loaded page; device-profile testing is paused. AI mode and Audit with AI work with your own key or server (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or an OpenAI-compatible server); the key stays on your device. Our AI, which needs no key, is coming soon, with an optional early-access waitlist.
• If an audit report looks noisy, review the findings as best-effort evidence rather than final judgment, especially on highly dynamic websites.

Troubleshooting

• Refresh the website before scanning if the page changed recently.
• Close and reopen the side panel if you switched to another tab or domain.
• Reinstall or reload the unpacked extension if Chrome shows an extension error badge.
• Use the latest version of Chrome for the most reliable Manifest V3 behavior.

Privacy And Data

Core scans are local-first. Results are stored in the browser unless you explicitly export them. For data handling details, review the Privacy Policy.
